After the big news …

September 7, 2008

Kellyn and I decided to celebrate over dinner. We ended up going to 1789 Restaurant, away from all the hustle and bustle of M Street. It was a very quaint place in an area of Georgetown you rarely see. The food was good (not great) but they had great service and we loved the ambiance.

As we left, the roads were getting drenched with rain from Tropical Storm Hanna. Now, this may sound crazy, but it was beautiful. Not to mention romantic! After Kellyn taught this former Californian the proper way to hold an umbrella in crazy tropical weather, we strolled down the street avoiding puddles and holding onto each other.
